Haley's book look

I was already aware of the Black Power Movement before watching the Black Power Mixtape. This documentary highlighted so many areas of the movement that I didn’t even think about. This film showed me how recent segregation and the Black Power Movement actually were compared to modern times. I also learned how the War on Drugs impacted the black community-specifically the youth. I was also aware of Angela Davis before watching the film, but it also showed me how monumental Angela Davis is to the Black Power Movement.
